Prints & Framing

We ensure every product is the best quality it can be. We use professional printing and framing specialists. In Australia our supplier is based in Sydney with 30+ years of experience in custom printing and framing, and they work closely with us to ensure the quality of all pieces is excellent.

Sizes
Standard sizes A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0 are used. Custom sizes and aspect ratios are available, as are even larger sizes than A0.

Printing
Each piece is printed on high archival quality photographic paper to ensure long life and the finest quality. The standard selected by us is Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl 310gsm semi-gloss paper. The finish can be changed at the purchaser's preference, but the quality remains high in every case.

Unframed Prints

There is no white border on these prints unless requested. Depending on size there may be a 20mm white edge to make handling easier.

Printed on Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl 310gsm semi-gloss paper. Other papers available on request.

Unframed prints are rolled with acid free tissue paper and packed into a hard postal tube.
Matted Prints
-
A matboard consists of the printed image dry mounted to acid-free adhesive foamcore backing with a mat border mounted on top. Mats are designed to sit between the printed image and the frame and provide a white border around the image. A matboard provides additional protection and rigidity to the print.

The size selection corresponds to the image and the proportionate off-white matboard border.

Standard sizing makes framing simple.

Photos printed on Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl 310gsm semi-gloss paper.

A2 and under are wrapped in a resealable, recyclable cello bag for extra protection.

If doing your own framing we recommend purchasing a matted print if you can.
Acrylic Glass

Each piece is printed onto an acrylic glass sheet using the latest UV technology.

Our supplier uses a high quality, glossy, 4.5mm thick framing grade acrylic which amplifies the depth, vibrance and clarity of the image, with built in 94% UV resistance. A 2mm thick black acrylic backing is used to complete the piece.

Framed Prints

Each frame is custom made in Sydney of high quality timber and glass

The size selection corresponds to the image and the proportionate off-white matboard border

Choice of black, white or raw oak frame with glass

The frame will add 4-8cm to each finished dimension.

Canvas

Each piece is printed on Eclipse Premium Satin Solvent Canvas 310gsm stretched over timber.

All sizes but A4.

There is no white border on these.

Online Representation of Printed Pieces
Care has been taken to accurately represent the finished printed and framed pieces on this website. However, the images shown may differ slightly when printed. This is due to individual differences in monitor and phone calibrations and web limitations.

Production Time Frame
Production times on framed images vary depending on the time of year. Each piece is custom made to order, and hand crafted in Sydney. It usually takes 3-8 days to complete unframed artwork orders, and 2-3 weeks for framed pieces, canvases or acrylic prints.
Can't find the shot you're after?
Most of my images from Instagram can be printed - I can't always put them all on here..
Get in touch! If I don't have the shot tell me where to visit next. I can often accommodate requests at no additional cost.

Need help choosing?
It can be hard to decide on a piece for your wall, and sometimes you want to see what it would look like. If you send me a well lit image of your space, directly facing the wall you are looking at, I may be able to show you how it might look.
